Local Boulder Artists

I'm trying to only include photos of my own art on this site so I don't confuse anyone. I will be adding links to other artists that I'm drawn to and/or have been inspired by. Below are a few local artists Liz Kramer and Amy Clay. Both have encaustic work - Amy uses more earth tones and Liz uses a lot of color. I was walking downtown and passed by a window and saw this really interesting painting with red dots - as it ended up it was one of Liz's which I discovered years later when talking to her at an Open Studio event. Enjoy!

Really having fun with these birds. I plan on adding a lot more color as I go but for now I like these simple with white backgrounds.

21 Missions

The second one I found was Mission San Antonio located on the back side of Big Sur. This was on Heart's Hunting Grounds - He eventually gave the Mission back to the Catholics and donated the surrounding land to the military where they have a base and practice military tactics.
There are 21 Missions that have been renovated in California. The first one I found was in Carmel.
